Mark Ryan, LICSW
Mark (he/him) earned his Master of Social Work degree at Simmons College in 1998, and a Bachelor's from Brandeis University. He trained in The Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Program at the Institute of Psychoanalytic Training and Research in New York City. Mark has had a thriving private practice in Brooklyn, NY for more than fifteen years, seeing children, adolescents, adults, and parents. He has also worked extensively in acute crisis care while at Boston Children’s Hospital Inpatient Psychiatric Service, in foster care settings, and in long-term residential treatment centers for adolescents with addictions.
Deborah Berkman, PhD, MAT
Deborah received her Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst in 1991. Previous to that, she earned her Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) from the University of Iowa. Deborah taught at Hampshire College in Amherst, MA for 17 years, where she also developed and directed the Writing Center. The Writing Center's mission to address writing blocks and other forms of academic performance anxiety led Deborah to her Ph.D. specialization in psychotherapy with college students.
