Jessica Poser, EdD, MFA
Jessica (she/her) obtained her Master of Counseling Psychology degree from State University of New York at Albany. She also holds both Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Jessica’s background as an educator and an artist informs her clinical work, as she believes therapy to be a deeply creative process. She has experience working with college students, and enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults of all ages. Her clinical work is influenced by relational and psychodynamic approaches to therapy. She invites exploration, curiosity and meaning-making with her clients. She endeavors to bring greater awareness to their relationships, histories, patterns and obstacles, and supports her clients in becoming more congruent in their lives.
In addition to her direct clinical work, Jessica is currently a scholar at the Western New England Institute for Psychoanalysis.
